Social Accountability International (SAI) hold a workshop in ALGI China Shenzhen office

ALGI is glad to inform that Social Accountability International (SAI) held a workshop in our Shenzhen office on January 13, 2017. The purpose of this workshop is to go over the SA8000:2014®, as well as the SA8000 9.0 Management Systems and Social Fingerprint integration.

Badrinath Gulu, SAI training and capacity building director, elaborated the essential of SA8000:2014® Management System as well as guided the participants to undertake risk assessment and Social Performance Team establishment.

Rochelle Zaid, SAI standards and impacts director, introduced the objective of setting social fingerprint system, briefed the progress in basic living wage evolvement as well as answered the inquiries from CBs during certification field work.

Six (6) certified body(CB) including ALGI participated this workshop and each CB technical expert shared the real case of both challenges and good practices.

In accordance with SAI transition plan, all SA 8000 certified clients should be transferred to new version by Jun 30, 2017.
